Guessing/hoping this isn't real, a la Onion. (Had me until Youseokdong, surprised the official isn't named You BeomSeok)
It makes sense, since we all know for a fact that there aren't ANY gay people in Korea. They don't want to be a 'gay tourist hub'. Makes perfect sense.
Guess you didn't take John Oliver's pledge? Good one. |

Would 베리빅개동 be better? I mean, with a longer  name, it might seem so impressive that it would be a success. I am sure this is a hard job, but someone has to come up with names that can not be taken the wrong way. |

| If they go after anything, I would think they'd start in Jeju. 서귀포시 just jumped right out at me the first time I visited. |
