I've got another question from a former colleague at another university. His school has changed their contract but not their working conditions. Their new contracts do not specify teaching hours per week in the contract. He says the conditions and hours are still the same.

Should he be concerned?

Labor Standards Act:

Article 17 (Statement of Working Conditions)
(1) An employer shall clearly state the matters described in
any of the following subparagraphs. The same shall apply in
the case of altering the following matters after a labor contract
is made: <Amended by Act No. 10319, May 25, 2010>
1. Wages;
2. Contractual working hours;
3. Holidays under Article 55;
4. Annual paid leave under Article 60;
5. Other working conditions prescribed by the Presidential
Decree.

"I've got another question from a former colleague at another university."

Another from what? Keep it real homeyo, what is the bread you be trying to butter? I need to know the original Aunt Jemima racist crap spread on this white toast, ya dig?

"His school has changed their contract but not their working conditions. Their new contracts do not specify teaching hours per week in the contract. He says the conditions and hours are still the same. Should he be concerned?"

You haven't given us enough details.

He says or the school says? We need concrete information.

ttompatz gave some nice headers and put one in bold (congrats ttompatz, you found the bold feature).

However, the question remains the same son. What is the problem? How EXACTLY did the school change their contract?

Give suitable information, and ttompatz can tell you more. He can only give weak advice when you give weak info mofo.

So, tell us jiggalicious Korean friend of a guy who wants to teach English, how did the schoolio change their contract?

Remember, be specific or raise hyenas to fart in gestapo pilgrims while waiting for square dancers, ya dig? I know you don't, so tell us the stuff straight and I won't post again like this because I want to understand what in the kimchi happened in your contract.
