I was recently told that I was never registered with ministry of education months and months after I first arrived. I've had my ARC since my first month here. The additional copies of my notarized documents have expired due to being older than 6 months old. According to the company (Commissionaires) I received my record check from originally, they no longer have my records on file and that I would have to send a new set of fingerprints to the them with an additional fee of $200+. I'll be contacting the embassy (again) tomorrow and immigration the next day, but I was hoping someone on here might have tackled this one before.

You should be able to use a copy of the original documents that were submitted to immigration, rather than having to get new documents. The immigration office where your documents were originally submitted can give you an officially stamped copy.

I'm not 100% sure if this is correct, however when my school bought a reading club franchise as part of our school, it was counted as a second workplace and so had to be added to all our ARC's and registered with the MOE. None of us needed to get new documents, copies were sufficient, and my CBC was from 2012.

I also know people who have changed workplace and copies of their documents were enough to update their ARC and register with the MOE under their new employer. I can't imagine this situation would be any different.

I would suggest you get the copies of your documents and ask your company to submit them, and if there are any problems after that try and reach an arrangement with them in regards to paying for a new CBC - there's no reason you should be out of pocket because they didn't register you.
