What's with medicine and weekends here? If you get sick or have something happen, I guess it's only suppose to happen Monday to Friday 9 to 6 and that's it? On the weekends, you're just suppose to go die somewhere? I'd ask about common sense, but clearly it's the land that common sense forgot. No walk in clinics, emergency room at local hospital that refuses to see you unless you're on the verge of death. Ambulances on the way there that cars don't stop for! Why is everyone so effin stupid?

In many ways, Korean medicine is better than Canada in the sense you don't have to wait umpteen hours in out patience for a few hours at a walk-in clinic. You can get in and out quickly even if you have to pay a few bucks. But late at night or on the weekend, heaven help you! Just shut your mouth and go die somewhere. It's about the only thing I'd rate Canada better at. You go to a walk in clinic or after those hours to the ER. |

Montreal wasn't so different when I lived there, honestly. Not defending Korea here, but I think this may just be a reality of socialized medicine. |

What Korea are you living in? The clinics and even hospitals I've been to in Seoul, Bucheon, Incheon, and Busan have had weekend hours. Of course, those hours are curtailed compared to the weekdays, but they're still available. |
