I've never worked at a hagwon, so I don't know.
I wonder if the parents have outlawed everything resembling a noneducational distraction and are solely working through a book.
Or are there computers, projectors, internet? Also, can the kids keep their phones?

That can vary greatly from hagwon to hagwon. I've worked at hagwons that had projectors, computers, and smart boards. I've also worked at hagwons that had nothing but a desk, chair, and blackboard. |
