A better troll post would have been...

"I'm an 18 yr old blonde without a degree, they offered me 3.8M a month to greet the parents. Should I take it?".

Ignoring the humorous reply. In short OP - No you can not be an English teacher here in Korea.

The short answer is "NO", you cannot become an English teacher in Korea.

In order to qualify for an E2 (teacher of foreign languages) visa as an English teacher you MUST have a passport from one of: UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, S. Africa, Australia or New Zealand.

There ARE however options in other countries. You CAN get work in China, and most of SE Asia provided you have a valid degree + proof of English proficiency (a valid TOEIC/IELTS/TOEFL score (visa requirement)).

Seneu, Hong Kong is full of English teachers from the Indian sub-continent on much better pay and conditions than you can find in Korea. However they have teaching qualifications as well as English ones. Still it's something to consider in the future.

The correct answer of course is yes. An E2 visa is hardly the only way to teach English legally in Korea.

If you plan to study in Korea, make it a long term plan. make sure you study at a graduate level while you are here, perhaps an MA Tesol. Also take the Korean Integration program while you study. After graduating, so long as you can find a job offer, you can transfer your student visa to an F2 points residence visa. any F2 can legally teach English at a variety of places, corporates, after schools, hagwons, etc regardless of nationality.

Basically if you are not from the big 7 and want to teach English or live long term in Korea, you need to find a path to another visa that lets you stay and move to a residence visa. Studying at the graduate level here allows that.

I don't really know if you'd be allowed to teach English in Korea, but I know they'd love to hire you as a migrant worker.

All kidding aside, if you have a very heavy accent, most likely no, since Koreans are mainly looking for teachers from those countries mentioned above.

The Koreans discriminate against people from England... that should give you a sense of where you will stand...

It's possible. There is an Algerian guy who writes for the Korea Times and has taught English here.

No.

(It also doesn't help that you made two errors while trying to spell English, 6 obvious errors in your title alone)
