I'm doing some research for my grad school's placement office and have been having trouble finding much information on after school jobs for e2 visas. While I was living there, it seemed that there were at least some after school jobs that would get you an e2 visa as I new a few people working them. Now I see virtually no after school jobs for e2 holders. It appears these jobs have now become the only for f visa holders.
Can I get some sort of confirmation on this. thanks |

The issue was/is the sponsorship.
In the past the schools would take take of the E2 paperwork even though the "teacher" worked for the A/S company (the A/S company usually was not eligible to sponsor a foreigner).
With the dodgy contract issues a few schools got stuck holding the basket when the A/S school pulled some dodgy crap and now the schools have been told to that they can no longer sponsor a "teacher's E2" when the teacher works for an A/S (always dodgy and skirting immigration law).
With F-visa holders they don't have that issue.
