The recognition comes as Park Chang-Jin is reportedly preparing to file a lawsuit in US court demanding $50-million-dollar damages from Korean Air for the abuse he claims he suffered at the hand of Cho Hyun-Ah, a former vice-president of the airline. |

Not really, by US standards. He'll ask for $50 million and then it'll get settled out of course for an undisclosed sum of a couple mil. |

| Note "US court" and not "ROK court" for the filing. Why? Jurisdiction for where and when the incident occurred? Statistically increased probability for an out of court settlement for undisclosed terms as northway suggests? Or perhaps a more vengeful, conspiracy-driven plotline? Tune in for more to come on the next episode of "Chaebol families gone wild." As for Hilton, both he and his father neither own nor run anything, so not an equitable comparison. More likely, he was trying to draw attention not to his lesser known self, but toward his more famous siblings. Yawn. The reward for this banal act was guerrilla advertising, since we all stopped to gawk. |
