The job ad for the LEI - that job is incredibly boring and management is horrible.

They were sued a couple of times recently and I know they lost at least twice for cheating employees.

Disgusting place.

And that's different from 90% of the jobs in Korea how? I'm sorry, I'm bitter and OUTTA HERE end of this semester...Ask me if i give a F%%k....

After 15(!!) years nonstop edu-play-cating, I've had enough of the 'dancing monkey' routine, which is necessary at ALL levels of 'English-teaching' here. This place is a JOKE! Social/cultural WASTELAND. For any newbs, DON'T EVEN CONSIDER IT!!! Go someplace you can actually HAVE FUN!!! F this place!!!

Signed,
A dancing monkey long enough! Rolling Eyes

We are your friends. There is no need in you suppressing your emotions and beating around the bush. Why don't you tell us how you really feel about this place.

A curse on your house(s)! Very Happy Very Happy

In all seriousness, I doubt it. Of course there are countless others who have said that, only to return with their tails between their legs, but hopefully I've banked enough coin (and with the pension payout) to not let the door hit me on my way out. Living frugally and with a wise investment here and there, early retirement, here I come!! That was a primary reason I put up with this crapola all these years, not for the love of the job, the country, or the students....

Worst case, I can afford a $15-20 hour EFL gig in SE Asia sunning my buns outside of the land of MERS, soju and kimchi. Wink

I got and good chuckle out of the curse Laughing Laughing

I keep holding on but I keep asking myself if it's really worth it. Some days I think it's pretty good, other days I feel like pulling my turning gray hair out.
