Has anyone on here done this yet? Apparently the process is very simple for Americans. I'm in Canada right now and looked into it and it seems pretty complicated and lengthy. I don't have the time to get it sorted out before coming back to Korea.
Is there a way to get a travel agent, while in Korea, to take care of it? Approx cost?
Cheers. |

Unless something has changed, Canadians were only able to get 1-year visas.
It used to be (and may still be the case) that only Americans were eligible for the 10-year multi-entry "L" visa.

Seems we are eligible.
I've read news articles from a few months past as well stating the new visa options for both Canadians and Americans.
Appears that Canadians need a letter of invitation and proof of where you are staying. Seems that this is a one time requirement even though it's a ten year visa. That seems odd to me. Americans don't need it.
Anyway, just wondering if I can get it sorted out from Korea, cost, and how long it will take. |
