Hey there,

I made a horrible mistake recently by drinking a ridiculous amount of alcohol and contacting my ex-gf.

My Korean fiance saw me... I want to make things right but I'm not sure how.

I honestly don't have feeling for my ex.

Yet, my fiance feels I do... and I want to make things right.

Any tips?

Nick.

edit: My Kr gf is non-materialistic. I can't buy her anything... She's quite sentimental though.

Buy her a big diamond bracelet. Go now and do it! Don't wait until the jewelry store closes. Tonight, get down on your knees and beg her for forgiveness. Hand her the necklace in a beautifully wrapped box. Then, hand her two dozen roses. She is more materialistic than you think.

But why put up the second nearly identical post? Not enough advice flowing in?

1. Give her your phone. Let her delete the number and any other " ladies" you might drunk dial in the future.

2. Don't drink so much.

3. Buy her something expensive, and make it a huge " event" when you give it to her. (Dinner/concert/trip)

I would be careful if I were you.

A break up or even turbulence in a relationship (for want of a better term) make it very easy to fall off the wagon and take a drink.

Before you know it you have drunk x cans of lager, x shots of liquor and she has all the more reason to leave you.

How do you get her back?

I guess you apologize and grovel for the next 3 - 6 months. Even if you just have to do it by text message or phone.

She will eventually accept that you had an off night.

How are you in contact with her anyway? Does she still meet you face to face or are you reduced to sending text messages?

Just get comfortable in your dog house digs until she's good and ready to let you out. Flowers can't hurt, but they probably won't shorten your stay.

Worst advice ever. That alone will destroy the relationship. Inflicting humiliation on a partner will create deep resentment and could actually result in a reoccurance.

Sorry to hear about your mishap, OP. There should be breathalizers on smart phones that shut the texting option down after a certain alcohol blood level. Anyway, If you are serious about your current relationship I hope this blows over and things work out.

Alcohol..the good, the bad and the ugly! Problem is, most of the tme it's just plain good. Then the bad and ugly side sneaks in when you don't guard's down and you don't expect it. Confused

I agree. Apologizing and groveling is the worst advice ever. A beta male move.

Ahh look pal, you f-ed it already. If you are in a relationship and engaged then why are you even contacting exes in any state of mind? It's simply inappropriate (yeah I know, people can talk to who they want when they want), but it's simply not worth it.

Just give it time and hope that the rather unpleasant wound you made heals.

Ignore the "that's a beta move, bro" shit. Folk who speak like that are guaranteed double digit IQers.

Be an alpha male. One person wearing panties in the relationship is enough.
