Anyone ever have this drink? I had it once at a work function and it tastes like you got pool water up your nose. It's entirely bizarre. |

As my gramps would say, I like it pretty good.
Like other Korean wines, though, I find it too week and sweet, so I don't drink it. |

I'd guess it's some variety of plum wine and on the sweet side.
I counted the non soj' bottles the other day in the local supermarket.Matchisoon,Sansachun(which goes off and tastes sour easily),rasberry wine,Gaepo,Baekseju,a couple of brownish wines(can't remember the name..가..something)and this one. |

I've drunk that.. I got it as "service" in a duck and sam gyeob sal restaurant. It wasn't great. But it was free. So I enjoyed it. I think it's a green plum drink. They grow a lot of green plums not too far from me so green plum related drinks are quite common here. But it might be some other fruit that looks similar. It's the one that actually has the fruit in the bottom of the bottle right? So-so. Wouldn't buy it unless it was super cheap. |
