|
|
When changing from an E2- to a D10 then back to an-E2,
will the E-2 visa be brand new or will they return the same old ARC ?
How exactly does this work?
I'm just curious as to whether my old schools/addresses will still appear on the new ARC? |

You apply for the D10 and you must surrender your current E2 ARC. When the new E2 is issued you will receive a brand new E2 ARC with your new employer and address.
The D10 is not an add on they can write on the back of your ARC, it is its own card. This is why they will issue you two different cards. |

Great! Thanks, tob55. This is kind of what I thought (was hoping)would happen. I was just making sure. I have a D-10 visa . I decided to leave one of my employers off the resume and wanted to make sure his name wasn't going to show up again. |

But you'll get the same ARC number again & your work history remains on file. |

The same ARC number is fine and the work history on file is fine.
But, I doubt prospective employers will check companies/schools that aren't listed on resume, right? How would they know? |
