My fridge is dieing on me and it's really big. Other than dragging it down flights of stairs and putting it to the curb with a sticker, (I live on the top floor of a 4 story villa...no elevator obviously), is there any way to have someone come pick it up? Will the scrap yard guys you see in every neighbourhood come collect it? The second hand store guys were out today and they said they did not want it.
If I buy a new fridge, from say Home Plus, will they remove the old fridge?
Regards! |

There are probably trucks driving around your hood with a pre-recorded message playing. They're looking to pick up any electronics, often inclusive of fridges. If you don't understand enough Korean, ask for help.
You could also ask at a local used appliance shop.
If you don't speak any Korean, have someone who does call up Home Plus and ask.
Or, yeah, enlist a friend to help you lug it out to the curve and slap a sticker on it. Then get a friend chicken and bitch about it over a couple of brews. |

I bought a fridge from Hi Mart recently and the delivery dudes took the old one away. Can't imagine Home Plus would be all that different. |

Referring to your wife as an "old fridge" is appalling.
Shame on you. |
