Hello, I am currently working as an English teacher in Seoul and am trying to find out the difficulty of getting into the KGSP for GSIS programs.
If anyone has managed to do this (directly through the university) or knows someone that has I'd be very interested to know what university they previously attended, GPA and TOPIK score!
Apologies if this has already been asked but I couldn't find anything witht he search function.
Just for some background, I went to a university just inside he top 10 in the UK majoring in history (GPA: 3.4 equivalent) and am thinking of applying to Yonsei or Hanyang. Currently TOPIK level 3 |

I know someone who studied master at KAIST with a special program, went back to his country and applied through the korean embassy for KGSP to do Ph.D and got it easily. he first had to study korean for one year in guangju . after that year, applicants give their preferences on what universities they want to attend. I think it's possible that you don't get your first or second choice though.
You don't need topik to enter as there is already 1 year of korean study. I am not sure about the GPA though. |
