Last year, I got offered a job at HR Honors English Academy. Before I accepted the position, I researched it as best I could and at one point I found one review of the school. The review wasn't great, but considering how much more numerous and negative other school reviews were, I figured no news was good news and I accepted the position. My time there wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either, at least not in terms of the work environment. Things were changing all the time and no one ever seemed to be clear on what was happening. Although I was supposed to get paid on the 15th of each month, this quickly had to be changed to the end of the month, and by the time I finished my contract and left, they still owed me money (they still do over 3 months later). I trust them to pay, but it is an inconvenience. Now, the teaching staff are great, but the management often seems unclear and lacking communication. Personally, I would not recommend this school for reasons that go further than this, but I am also aware that it is not the worst one out there. |

It's like having your fingers cut off and claiming it's not too bad because some schools cut the entire hand off. |
