My contract with my current hagwon job is finishing soon, and I want to stay in Korea and find another teaching job. I had three questions about this:

(1) My ARC will expire one month after the end of the contract. Can I legally stay in Korea untill the ARC expires or do I have to exit the country immediately after my contract finishes?

(2) Is it true that a new Criminal Background Check is not required for a new job provided the applicant doesn't leave the country for longer than three months?

(3) Do I need to get another notarised copy of my degree, or is the one currently on file at Jeonju Immigration retrievable for application purposes?

Thank you very much in advance for any replies.

Go switch to a D10 visa the day after you finish your job. Your degree is on file so you don't need it. You shouldn't need a criminal record check if you haven't left the country. How can you commit a crime back home if you haven't even been there?
