Hey guys
I went past the 5 entries by accident with my korean bank security card. Now I can get into my account but I cant transfer money. Do I have to go to the bank to get this fixed? And what proof/questions do I need to show the bank? TIA I hate the banking in Korea. |

Go to your bank, take your card with you (or anything connected to your online banking as well). They will ask you to input your security pin, you tell them what happened and it will be fixed without incident. They just need to reset it at the bank. One of the nicer things that have happened here in Korea due to people stealing and using ATM cards. Had to do it a couple of times during my stay here as well. Cheers |

Awesome thanks for the info. I was worried about having to verify the last few transactions on the account. I messed up entering the numbers last week and I wont be able to go to the bank to tomorrow. I have forgotten about the amounts of my last transactions so I was worried they would keep me locked out forever. |

It's a fairly simple process, depending on your bank. Most banks realize people make mistakes at times, so there is normally no issues. Make sure you do it with a personal banker rather than the regular clerks at the counter taking deposits. They don't typically know how to do the things the personal bankers do in lots of situations. So, save some time by going that route first. |
