Is there a waiting limit, restriction on when someone can get a job in Korea if they broke a contract prior?
Permanently barred? Wait a certain length of time (1yr, 2yr, erc.) or at the end of the contract they would have completed had they stayed? |

| I believe you have to wait until your current visa expires before you can apply for a new one. |

Breaking a contract is not the same as breaking a law. Breaking a law may get you barred from entering the Korea. Breaking a contract is just quitting a job.
If you have a CURRENT, complete set of visa documents, in theory, you should be able to get a new job and visa right away (by doing a visa run to Japan). The reason I stipulate, "IN THEORY," is because this is at the sole discretion of immigration, and more specifically which ever immi officer gets your file. Many of them don't even know the full guidelines, and they just rule whichever way they feel, most days.
Worst case scenario: come back to the Korea when your current visa expires. |
