Hey ESLers,
The good people in the video linked below represent less than half the small team working to pull this show together, which is still a small unit, but travelling far and fast as we are it's working for us so far ... except in terms of finances.
Anyone who can lend a hand either with money, or by forwarding this link into wider networks where maybe others are better placed to help out: thanks very much for whatever help you are able to share.
- We are expecting to run at a loss--but if by amazing chance we do better than breaking even--any net profit is being returned automatically into a new fund to get at least three or four completely awesome new movies translated with high quality subtitles ASAP, so we might well do the BCA Film Festival in the first half of next year.
We'd also like to see these films shown more widely around the peninsular. At any rate, we're a strictly non-profit NGO aiming to honour the creative efforts of those telling these stories which add up to awareness and action within the newly activated international climate action movement.
Want to host a screening of Cowspiracy with the subtitles? Let us know.
