| If I interpret the scholarly article correctly, the correlation is not between irritation and creativity, but rather sensitivity and creativity. This sensitivity may be positive or negative. Case in point would be something like ASMR, in which certain noises (including mouth noises like lip smacking, one of the more popular searches) cause pleasurable reactions and listeners are very sensitive to them. |
