For those of you who are confused about the new Seoul bus system, you can go to this sight and get all the bus routes you'll ever need.
Also, I found out that if you need to transfer to get to your destination, it is free from bus to bus, bus to subway, and subway to bus; only with a bus, credit or T-Money card.
Anyway, I hope the sight helps.
Note: For routes click on either of the 3 links:
Hi Seoul

Empas
Also, it is only in Korean, for now. |

How about offering advice that the majority of the board could actually use?
If you cant read Korean, and still need a bus map (not that tourist joke job map the Seoul Help Center put out) go here
You can get info on any bus line in Seoul- see a detailed map of the entire route, find out which bus goes where- its a goldmine!
KND- perhaps this site could be stuck into the faq somewhere? |

WRONG
It is only free if you go less than 14km. Over that and you pay more. |

Lush, I was not trying to pass of my opinion as fact.
I should have been clearer, so:
< On Fares >
Q. What new features can we expect from the revised bus fare system?
A: The most noticeable feature is the integrated fare system designed to reduce financial burdens when switching between forms of mass transportation. Under the new system, passengers will only have to pay 800 won over a given distance no matter how many times they change between buses (including village buses) and subways, with an increment of 100 won charged for every additional 5 km. Under the previous system, a passenger changing buses once to get a destination had to pay 1,250 won (650 won + 600 with 50 won discounted on the second bus). Under the new system, a passenger pays 800 won for the basic distance (10 km), no matter how many times she changes buses, and then 100 won more for every 5 km added to the basic distance. No matter how far she may travel until her destination, the fare will be less than the 1,600 won (800 won + 800 won) paid under the current system, supposing she changes buses or transfers to another form of mass transportation just once. |
