|
|
Hey guys...
I have created a website showcasing some of my favorite Western foods and how to cook them yourself here in Korea. In addition, I have put together an index of ingredients and where they are available for purchase here in Korea.
Years ago it used to be very hard to find a lot of this stuff, and this would have been a lot more helpful back then. However, hopefully some newbies here to Korea can find this information useful. If you have any information related to where ingredients are available, send me a message via the site if you wish to contribute.
This is a project I have casually been working on for about the last six months, so it's still fairly limited. I will continue to update it with a new recipe or two each month, but again, it's just a casual hobby. I receive no compensation for the website. Everything is 100% free, ad free, and supported solely by myself.
I welcome your feedback.

Neat idea,
Would have loved something like that some years back. If you are aiming at noobies, perhaps Korean names for the ingredient names would be helpful. |

This is awesome. I'll post over on waygook as well. Keep up the good work. If you ever make some traditional stews please let us know how those go too. Or traditional rolls. But your site is awesome!!! |

If you, or anyone, were to PM any info via the website, I would be happy to add it. All recognition would be given.
Also, thanks for all the positive comments. It means a lot! |

I tried to include the Hangul names for things that "require" you to know Korean to order, which are mostly butcher items. The rest can be gotten at any major supermarket, or Costco, these days. That said, some could probably use some updating |
