When I saw this thread I thought, "oh no, it's ICEV AGAIN! What can have gone wrong this time?" It might be better to ask what didn't go wrong.
I nearly got a job in another English Village. That village might have been better than ICEV. What attracted me about the other village was that I got a nice positive review from a teacher there. It reminded me of summer schools in the U.K. where I had been very happy to teach. But when I read about ICEV here, repeatedly, and read about things I know would really annoy me, I decided that I would give it a wide berth. I suspect that it's also kind of difficult to get out of ICEV. You're there, on site and it's almost 24/7, so it's harder to unwind.
Thank you for giving us all this information. I now realise ICEV is not for me. |

Very wise choice. ICEV is not for anyone. Unless you are suicidal ICEV offers you absolutely nothing but long working hours, no weekends and a horrible boss. |
