I'm really new to Korea, I just got here this month, looking for my first full time job teaching English.

Bodybuilding has been a huge part of my life for 10 years and I'm really horrified trying to find a quality gym here.

Searching on googlemaps isn't helping because I know 0 korean.

If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it. NABBA Korea has some really amazing champions and physiques so I know that bodybuilding exists at a high level in Korea, I just wish I knew where.

I cannnot cannot cannot survive with only a gym with 60lb dummbells @_@

Many thanks in advance to anyone who helps ^_^

Its a little off topic from what youve asked, but from what I can see, the koreans generally train in the same places we do. Im shocked at the size of them considering how much they lift (ie nothing). Ive trained here for years on and off and been to around 40 gyms. Only once have I seen a proper set of dumbells - and never have I seen someone able to lift them.

Good luck finding somewhere or do as I do - get creative.

Mapo Station.

Bodystar #12 (the location number. If you buy a premium membership, you can use all the locations around Seoul).

Tons of great equipment, and right attached to the station.

The #1 location is full of competitors - you'd like it there. Hansung Uni Station.
