Wondering if anybody has gotten an TESOL certification through these people. Would it meet the requirements for EPIK? Here in Central Texas they offer a combined online and in person course that runs 100 hours over 4 weekends in January and February. It's either that or do the CELTA at UT but I don't have the money or time off of work to do that option. I know most schools don't like online courses so I'm looking for options. I already have a teaching certificate in Secondary Social Studies but want to beef up my ESL credentials.

EPIK requires 120 hours total with 20 hours of face to face as part of the coursework.

BUSAN requires 60 hours of face to face time with the remained allowed to be on-line.

Both Korvia and EPIK's websites say that 100 hours (online) is acceptable. An additional 20 hour in-class component is not currently required, but may be in the future. It's still preferred, though.

Busan currently requires a 50 (not 60) hour in-class component.
