Can one set up a bank account with only their passport?
How long does getting the ARC card usually take? |

| They are now produced in a central office, so it can take longer than that. I was told to wait 2 weeks, and it came after 17 days. |

| It's not a new account, but I set up a bank account with only my passport with no problem. But when I later wanted an ATM card, I was asked about the ARC card & had to jump through hoops. All I did was save myself from hauling cash around for a while. |
