They already stopped eating dog meat for the Olympics. This is like me quitting smoking. I've done it hundreds of times.

That said, I have no objection whatsoever to the consumption of dog meat.
Fido, Bambi, Thumper, whatever. I'll eat it. Dog just isn't very tasty, IMO.

The West really needs to get over the whole Asians eating dog thing. Glass houses and whatnot.

Westerners complaining about Asians eating dog is like Indians complaining about westerners eating beef; largely lost on deaf ears.

What they need to do, to make this, em, palatable to the west, is allow you to choose your dog, Red Lobster style.

Leave it to foreigners to take an article with a hack title and barely a half-sentence reference to dog meat consumption and the other 99% about the struggles of a woman that loves dogs to care for the unwanted animals, to become a "eating dog meat" thread.

Let't try to stay on topic. "Fluffy" is a cat's name.

That said; I have no objection to the consumption of animal right's activists, as long as they are humanely slaughtered.
