Ok I know there is a 6 month limit on the FBI background check for the e2 visa but what about the diploma, I have a spare apostelled diploma from my last trip in 2012-2014...is that still valid |

Sorry to hijack the post but the limit of 6 months is from the moment you mail in the Criminal Check for processing or from the moment that it was apostilled?
I am planning on getting my FBI check soon and I was wondering if, let's say, I requested it today, then would it expire in January. Intake is in March if I am not mistaken and would I have requested it too early? |

You have 6 months from the date the CBC was issued to have it with immigration, the date you apply for it and the apostille date are irrelevant. If it is 6 months and 1 day old the day it lands with immigration, they will reject it. So you need to know approximately how long it takes for the CBC to be issued, and when you will submit it to immigration to work out when to apply for it. |
