As I stated in another thread...my school is undergoing a change of ownership. I'm wondering who is ultimately responsible for paying my severance. If history tells me anything then I already know my original employer won't pay severance. So if I switch my visa to the new employer(even though I only have about 7 weeks left) will the new owner be responsible to pay? If so, then I should go through the trouble of switching my visa over. But if she's not responsible, I'm afraid I'll just be letting my original owner off the hook.

They also haven't paid into my pension. Which owner do I go after for that?

Advice very much appreciated.
