In the biggest city of the Philippines, the air pollution is in the hazardous level- 369.

In America's biggest city it's 3.

Manila's a hundred times more polluted. That's crazy! What is causing all that air pollution?

I was thinking about going to the Philippines (for the first time), but after seeing that website I'm having second thoughts. T_T

The only thing good about metro Manila is leaving it.

7000+ islands to choose from. Stay away from the NCR.

5000+ island are virtually pristine. 1950 more are pretty quiet places to rest and recuperate.

As to what is causing all the pollution in the NCR... thousands of jeepneys, trucks and 2 cycle motorcycle engines running on dirty fuel spitting tons of soot into the air every hour - 24/7.

.

Good advice. I'll steer clear of Manila.

There is serious air pollution in Beijing too! Sad
My friend who studied there, had to go back to her country to avoid it.
