I want to hook my computer up to my stereo.

Can I do this?

Please don't be too hard on my stupidity.

The speakers I have on my computer are set up as such: plug originates in main speaker and goes into computer, main speaker is connected to auxiliary speaker with a separate wire, main speaker is plugged into adapter.

My stereo has an AUX channel, and red and yellow input holes.

Can I buy a wire that will fit into my computer speaker port, and which splits into red and yellow so the other end of it will plug into my stereo? That sounds too simple, but it would be sweet.

Easy.

3.5 mini-jack to 2 RCA plugs

These are available in any Korean supermarket eg. Carrefour, E-mart...
