I want to connect the HDMI output from my Apple TV device to the RCA input jack of my digital TV (pictured below). It should be a digital-to-digital signal, yes? Can I get simple RCA cable-HDMI converter cables in Yongsan?

HDMI is digital and component (red green blue plugs) is analog. You need a converter. Something like this:

Edit: I have no way of confirming this but if you want to stream movies from Netflix or Hulu you may run into HDCP copy protection problems. If you plan on mainly streaming movies I would research this before buying the converter. If the streaming sites require HDCP-compatible equipment then you might be out of luck. I'm not absolutely sure about this since all of my equipment is HDMI with HDCP but you should look into it before buying.

You might just be better off buying a non name-brand cheap tv like this one:

Would these HDMI-RCA converters be for sale at Yongsan Electronics Market?

I don't live in Seoul so I can't tell you. I'd be surprised if none of the stores had one.
