In response to Trump's "fire and fury" threat, North Korea announced plans to launch multiple missiles that would land near Guam. Trump then escalated the war of words by threatening unprecedented destruction if North Korea did anything "in Guam"...

With an intentionally depleted State Department diplomatic core - including no Ambassador to South Korea - it seems like Trump is hellbent on mainly using the threat of awesome military force to deal with NK's potential nuclear threat to U.S. mainland despite almost certain castastrophic consequences if war escalates on the Korean peninsula and surrounding regions...Reportedly, Trump improvised his incendiary threats without consulting with his key military leaders/advisers, who have the task of assuring world leaders that the U.S. foreign policy isn't being shaped by a nuclear trigger-happy madman...

What's the likelihood of an American military response if NK fires four missiles that land near Guam? Trump just doubled down on his warning to NK about testing those missiles. Very interesting to see how NK reacts as this is the first time NK has faced an administration that responded with tough rhetoric.

Trump is ignorant and has no concept of what happens with a nuclear bomb...I suggest he read Hiroshima by John Hersey and read the descriptions related by the everyday people going about their day....

....negotiate....do a "Gorbachev"....
