Hi there. So I accepted a job and it's time to send off my visa documents. I headed down to FedEx where the employees had no IDEA what any of the address I handed to them was (a woman there really tried but in the end, she gave up as well). I searched online for the proper way to address mail to Korea but I had some trouble as well. Does this look like a normal address to you and how does this address work, line by line?

Deforest English Okdong Campus
(Director: Mr. Lee Su-Mok)

(680-833) *** Postcord
Ulsan City
Nam-gu
Sinjeong-2dong 1639-29 Bunji
Jihu Plaza 3F
South Korea

Actually, I'm not sure if it's against the rules to post an actual address on here so I apologize if it is.

I was also hoping someone might explain how to ship packages/letters to and from Korea, if you wouldn't mind.

Actually, send it like you normally would- that would mean

name
(building) address 1
address 2
(district), city, postcode
country

Deforest English Okdong Campus
(Director: Mr. Lee Su-Mok)
Jihu Plaza 3F
Sinjeong-2dong 1639-29 (take out Bunji, it only means number)
Nam-gu Ulsan City 680-833
South Korea

Even though Koreans do it exactly opposite (Large to small), it won't be an issue. All the info you need to get it delivered is there. Letters and packages are the same- just use the format you're used to (small to large) and you'll be OK. On mailing forms (such as with Fedex or EMS) always try to include a phone number as well but not needed on the mailing labels/envelopes.

Good luck.
