Hello everyone!

I'm a university teacher in Japan, and my students irritate me. Actually, I am doing research into how badly university teachers are irritated by certain forms of student behavior. I'm hoping to compare the results between various countries and see if any patterns develop, or if there is no consensus as to what makes us angry.

So, I have a favor to ask of you...

If you are willing, could you take a few minutes to complete an online survey I have developed which asks how irritated you are at certain forms of student misbehavior? It's simple (only 10 questions), and should only take 3-5 minutes. It is completely anonymous and you won't be contacted afterwards for any other information. However, if you would like to see the results, please send me a private message and I will give them to you.

The survey is at Survey Monkey. The URL is:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/57M7TJB

Thanks very much, and please post/write if you have any questions!

The flipside, of course, has to do with how well teachers manage their classrooms!

Thank you to those who have taken the time to fill out the survey! I've had just over 20 responses to far, and some of the comments are especially interesting. They bring up stuff I'd never considered, that's for sure...

If I could get somewhere north of 50 responses, I'd be a happy camper!

One more time, the link is in the opening message of this thread.

Cheers from Chilly Japan!
