I am an Irish 34 year old teacher with 7 years experience. I have been teaching primary (English, Science, Maths) in Thailand for 3 years and would like to come to Korea. I have looked at some international schools but I don't think there are that many in Korea.
Should I be applying to these or are there other options?
Are there jobs on the jobs board for international schools or is it all ESL jobs?
I assume the money and holidays are better in these schools. What kind of salary would I be looking at in international schools or other schools?
I don't have a TEFL. Would my teaching qualification be sufficient? |

Irish have a reputation for being big drinkers. It may be in your best interest to keep alcohol consumption a secret. Show the choir boy side of yourself. |

Yeah, I remember seeing some rejection later in the media a couple of years back stating that the applicant wasn't getting the job because of the 'alcoholic nature of your people'! |

If you want to work as a subject teacher then quit looking on EFL boards.
Try looking at Teacher recruiting boards or recruiters.
You can also google a list of international schools in the country and/or region and apply directly.
