It had previously struck me as interesting that, for a series that is now well over fifty years old, all of the actors who played the main character were still alive. Not true anymore.
I can't say he was my favorite Bond. Or my least favorite. Or anywhere in the middle, for that matter, since I was at most a casual viewer of the series. Seen a few of the films, but usually either on TV, or at the behest of someone else. I think the only one I ever paid to see on my own volition was Skyfall.
Moore's Bond probably seemed like a bit of a downer to me, given that he was coming on the heels of the Connery series, infused with that 1960s energy and vibrancy. Other than that, can't really say I had any preference between the two, or any of them.
