Hi,

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to apply for a Korean police check outside of Korea? If so, what's the procedure? Long story short, I lived in Korea between 2010-2016 and may need to get hold of a Korean criminal record check/police check in order to apply for a job. Is this even possible? I don't speak Korean, so that limits my options somewhat I'd imagine. If anyone's done this before or knows someone who has and can provide some advice then I'd be very grateful.

Thank you.

Yes. Forms are available at Korean Consulates. As far as my experience goes, fingerprints are not required but you will need 2 pieces of photo ID, one being a valid passport.
