In the last 5 years the place has become very expensive or maybe thats just Seoul.
The ladies all seem to have the same style.
Itaewon is the place to be.
I miss the saunas around the biz centers. No better place to relax. |

Rents are through the roof, Itaewon being the exception.
I've been with the same lady for over 20 years, and her style changes seasonally. There's more individualism in terms of style than 5 years ago, or at least that's what I'm seeing.
Itaewon has gentrified substantially, and expanded to include Kyoungredan. That might actually be the place to be rather than the Twon proper.
Why would you stay anywhere for saunas and biz centers? Yikes! Get out and about! |

Tell me about it!
A buddy of mine and I had a post hike feed at a minbak. 40,000 won for a couple of bottles of soju, 2 pancakes and a jiggae!!! Go to a BBQ restaurant and have a big feed! OUCH!
The ladies have always had the same style. Orange/brown hair seems to be the rage now, and the students all have Harry Potter-esque glasses and bowl cuts.
Itaweon is no longer a shitehole. I quite like it now.
Good to be back, but it's same same apart from it costing an arm and a leg now. Taxis are still pretty cheap, though. |
