Hi...
This is my first post.
Is there any "reliable" paid service to have my US diploma apostilled and sent to Korea?
By the way, is apostilled "certificate of diploma" (issued by http://www.studentclearinghouse.org ) equally valid?
I will appreciate helpful replies. |

Are you in Korea or the US? If you're in Korea, I'm just confused why you don't already have an apostilled diploma and if you're still in the US, why you need it sent to Korea.
If you’re in Korea and need the apostilled diploma for a new job, I’m pretty sure you can have your current employer transfer it to the new school. Maybe I’m wrong about that...? I’ve only ever needed a new copy when I entered the country.
Otherwise, you could mail the diploma to someone you know back home (a family member) and have them get a copy notarized and sent to the Secretary of State (same state that it was notarized in) for the apostille. Probably the cheapest that way. Could be tricky, though, since some notary publics won’t notarize a diploma if they can’t verify that it’s real (some weird catch 22 thing). But others won’t make a big deal about it.
In the future it’s good to get a bunch of copies of apostilled diplomas (and TEFL certs) before you leave your country because they don’t expire. |
