Okay, I want to play some vcds next week for the kids as it't their last week of classes.
My crap computer at work tells me I need Wing32.dll (I think- the software is in Korean) I managed to track down a copy of that file, but it's still not working.
I suspect it's because it's gotta be placed somewhere rather specific within the system - can anyone tell me where? ( The OS is Win 98 ) |

I couldn't play Spiderman II or Prisoner of Azkaban VCD's on my schools PC. (Windows Media Player)They played on mine (WMP) and even on students DVD players. They have XP but nothing is updated. DirectX, WMP, Indeo codecs. I went to MS update and found that they hadn't updated much. There was even a driver update for them. I believe that's why they wouldn't play.
98 might be a problem if it can't upgrade to the latest WMP, Direct X and the Indeo codecs. My guess anyway.
For what it's worth I just did a search on my PC for Wing32.dll and found nothing. Searched hidden folders etc. |
