Would you eat Kimchi back home? |

I do, and I've been back home for 4 years now after 13 years in Daegu.
My local organic sandwich shop in my little, whiter than white hometown has a kimchi sweet potato sandwich and it's effing fantastic. At home i eat it as a side sometimes... especially with jja-jjang-myun style ramyon. |

I ate kimchi before moving to Korea oh so many years ago. After all, we lived next door to a Korean restaurant. |

This is really open-minded of you all. I was in Daegu, too. Loved the riverside park where I went with my dog. Was honestly the better part of Korea I'd seen. Lived in Sosean-gu?
Anyway the gist of my query is to see if fear of garlic breath was a problem for any of you back home. |

I bought some called Nasoya, mild, made me feel indigestion, flatulence, making me wonder too about the old days back in Korea when I devoured it daily, sometimes at every meal!
Back then I also contracted stomach problems, so my inquiry is kimchi may be too astringent and not as healthful as they promote? |
