I found a zoomable Korean map that is pretty good. I think it's useful for people at home looking for locations of possible jobs in towns outside Seoul.

That's for one city.
If you wanna see some nice pics clickable on a map (see the index), plus lots of zoom action, check out this hi-tech map of Geoje Island:

But, anyway my favourite's @ http://maps.google.com/ where they have zoomable satellite images of virtually the entire planet. The map features, for Korea at least, are pretty useless though. Also, major city centres of the world seem to block/blur their downtown images, presumably for security concerns, and most of the world isn't covered down to low attitudes. But, regardless it's still pretty cool.
A tip when zooming into Korea, the search only seems to recognize Seoul, not even other large cities such as Busan/Pusan or Daegu/Taegu. So, you have to manually zoom around until you find the neigbourhood you live in. Of course, it helps if you happen to know what you're neighbourhood looks like from above!
Here's mine ...

On Google Earth Seoul is spelled "Soul". What's up with that?

It might be useful to mention that this requires Internet Explorer (as it uses an activex script...evil...). |
