I'd say 85% of the time I'm asked by koreans what country I come from I get the same stock response:

"Aaah England- gentleman!"

Are there a whole gamut of these for every country out there?

I just hesitate, debate whether mentioning it, and if I do, I just get silent static across the radio that is international communication.

"I'm from America."

"Oh..."

"Canada? Good," they say with a pleasant surprise and assertive praise.

Then I try to explain my home town as being a few hours from...

"Vancouver! Oooooooooooooooooo," they say with what can only be described as a mild orgasm.
