This is kind of an off the wall question- but does anyone know of a good site to download kids movies with Korean subtitles?
I'd buy legit, or Yongsan DVDs, but my school doesn't have a DVD player. I can however show anything that can be burnt onto a cd, though the computer TV set up.
Thanks |

Not the relic I have at school. It's got a cd drive, but won't handle dvds. |

You could rent them and rip them yourself. Gord seems to know about this more than I....maybe he will post something about it. |

You could do a TV line out from your laptop if you have one. |

if your computer is very old, are you sure it will play the moviees in the first place?
OK, presuming that it does, download the movie you want. next go to Google and type in "Korean Subtitles - Return of the king" or whatever your movie is.
You should find a file somewhere called "movie name.srt"
Files ending in .srt are subtitle files.
Put the srt file in the same directory as the movie you have. it must have EXACTLY the same name as the movie file, so if it 123456789.avi, rename the SRT file to 123456789.srt.
Play it to see if it's working, sometimes the subtitles are out of sync. Also be careful that sometimes the file you download if for half the movie, it might say CD1 or CD 2 in it's title. You need the full one.
If you can't find it try using Emule, has lots of subtitle files.
Voila!
To be honest, i think it's a lot of effort when you could beg your boss to buy a VCR instead, or even go out and buy one yourself. Even bring in your own from home. The expense and effort might be worth it for the peace of not having twelve kids shouting at you.... |

Thanks for the advice, but I just found a place that sold vcds 4 for 10,000. So I can't show the kids Shrek 2, but they'll live. |
