|
|
| I will arrive in SK in September. I am concerned that I will be treated poorly by my students. I have a whole lot of what people crudely refer to as "T&A." I am afraid children will be cruel, calling me fat etc. I am not sure how to deal with that in a classroom setting. I have taught esl overseas before but it wasn't an issue at all in this country. Has anyone dealt with this situation before? What did you do? |

That'll happen. Just smack 'em on the side of the head. |

| Of course we are all fat wayguks! You'll get used to it. And if they tease you just say "shut up or i'll sit on you" works every time. |

I am a nine in the US and wear an 81/2 shoe, should I bring everything with me? |

I'm maybe not the guy to ask but aside from downloading porn, playing literati, and cleaning my house I don't have much to do tonight. . .
Itaewon in Seoul will have everything you want. |

Not lonely, just halfway through 10 weeks of vacation and taking some necessary veg time before I use it all up frivolously.
Itaewon is an area in Seoul where expats hang out. |

| Don't worry about the kids, they're just doing what kids do. Bring your clothes with you, especially shirts and shoes. Korean women's shoes are.. less than practical. Itaewon is okay, but it really isn't shopping paradise for women. |

Does anyone else not know what "T&A" is?
Does anyone else think that a size 9 (US) in clothes is a "fat" size, like the OP does? |

T & A = *beep* and @ss. I wonder if the swear filter will let this slide
Edit: Apparently not The T stands for a euphenism for B_reasts
A size 9 to me isn't fat at all...maybe if you multiply it by 2

I think A US 9 would only be considered a "fat" size by people with some serious weight issues, and I'm pretty sure, by T&A she means she's rather curvy..
A tip: Bring conservative clothes. I've gotten in some trouble for wearing strappy tank tops on a day off. ( Still wear them once in a while though) |

| I don't think a size nine is fat at all. But I am a good forty pounds bigger than a korean girl so I was a little concerned. Thanks for all your input. |

| The other thing is...if it bothers you about the T&A remarks....lose it! |
