Actually, the ad is correct. The National Pension Corporation's pension plan is generally referred to as a "pension scheme" in official government records and paperwork and is a correct translation of the Korean. Keep in mind that the word "scheme" does not always have a negative connotation and is commonly used to refer to systematic plans to administer a benefit or entitlement. The phrase "pension scheme" is commonly used to refer to government and other public sector pension plans in both the United States and United Kingdom. If you are skeptical of Hannam University's pension scheme, then you should also be skeptical of:

the Local Government Pension Scheme, the pension plan for civil servants in England and Wales.

Beyond that, Hannam University has a reputation for being a good place to work. It's certainly head and shoulders above neighboring Woosong University, which is still a big step up from any hagwon.

Well, thank you for that clarification, as well as admitting that "scheme" has a negative connotation -- since that was the only point I was making, that "scheme" has a negative connotation -- and apparently it is a mistake that is made by native speakers as well, as you so astutely pointed out.

My point is that it's not a mistake. Rather, assuming that "scheme" always has a negative connotation is a mistake or a sign that a person has a limited education in the fields of business or administration.
