I thought that title was kind of cute!
I'm not a big fan of "privates" myself (won't do 'em), but another teacher and I had sort of an argument about this...
He feels that immigrations doesn't care about anyone but the kiddies. By teaching older folks, like at a company, he feels safe. His argument is that they are mainly concerned about enforcing rules for the hagwon industry. He said that if someone ratted out on a company, they might follow it up, but in general, he feels safe.
My take on it is that it doesn't matter, and that they go after everybody.
He said he's never heard of a company being busted.
Anyone heard of that before? In my years here, I haven't heard of that one either. |

Generally they are left alone, but do get busted sometimes. There was a big bust not long ago out near Yong-in and Suwon of a big 2 office. When the new immigration office opened out there, they made a nice high profile bust in the first few weeks got 6-7 teachers.
