I have a Canon Ixus 400 digital camera that I purchased in Korea. I never had a problem gettting the pictures from the camera. Just plug it in and follow the instructions. Now out of the blue I get a message saying the camera is busy and to try again later. I checked the connection and USB cable but it still does not work. I do not understand why it worked 3 days ago and now it does not work. Anybody have any advice?

Hrm, it may be possible that the camera was turned off while the camera was writing data to the CF card.

I've got this very camera myself, and I haven't had this problem with it.

Might be worthwhile to call up Canon support.

Try taking the card out, and using the default 32Meg card in there, to see if it's the CF card causing the problems.

If you still get problems, try taking it to a friends' house, and plugging it into his computer. If problems STILL persist, it could either be the cable or the camera itself.

The former is easy to fix, just get one from a camera shop. The latter could be quite annoying, and you may need to contact Canon.

Hey thanks for the reply. I do not think it is the cable because I use the same cable for my mp3 player. I guess I will check with Canon and see if they can help me out. Someone also suggested I download a USB update. Maybe I will try that.
